My kids are in love with it. It has so many neat features. It is an all-in-one sleep aid, alarm clock, nightlight, and timer for children ages 2+. It tells them when it is time to sleep (blue light) and when it's okay to get out of bed (yellow light). It also plays bedtime stories, lullabies, fun wake music, and even white noise (like ocean sounds)! As an added bonus, My Tot Clock has a light blue light for nap time, a red light for timeout, and a green light for any positive timed activity.
This was such a perfect time for me to get My Tot Clock because my oldest child starts Pre-K this next year and my youngest starts the year after that. I have been in the process of trying to get a schedule down for them and My Tot Clock makes schedules easy and fun! The first night my kids used it we had the setting on story time (it reads a story at bedtime), they loved it. My daughter had to tell her grandma all about it on the phone the next day, haha. If I could just get them to grasp the concept of the red light (time-out) we would be good to go! =D

I have one My Tot Clock to give away to a very lucky reader!

My son also uses "the sun is still awake" excuse combined with the potty excuse multiple times. His latest is that the neighbour kids are disturbing him.

After watching WAY too many episodes of Diego, my son's favorite excuse (he'll be starting pre-k next year too!) is, "Momma, there are PUMAS in my room!!"...hahaha! I keep telling him there are NO pumas where we live...but he insists. He's a great excuse maker!! LOVE the clock!

My five-year-old son, and aspiring super hero, heard his daddy snoring. His excuse for getting out of his bed, and into mine was, when daddy snores, it is loud and scary. Therefore, he has to come and sleep with me so I will not be scared. He will protect me! He is my hero!

I have a two year old little girl who always tries to wear my watches, and mess with my alarm clock, this would be perfect. Something of her own.

The clock is so cute. My son tells me he can only sleep with his eyes open. This keeps him awake longer than anyone would like. :) LOL!

I would love to try this out on my son. He gets up at the crack of dawn and insists that its daytime and the sun is shining and these summer months are even harder with the longer days. We get every excuse out there- many in the same night. Gotta laugh though.

My most recent favorite excuse to get out of bed at night: "Daddy needs me to sit on his lap."
My little guy is pretty honest. He just whines, "I don't want to!"

My two year old doesn't have any funny excuses, she just belts out "mommy, me all done in crib!". At 5 am, that's not so funny.

My daughter is not even three yet, but she has already tried to convince me that there were spiders in her bed before. Of course, I HAD to check, just in case, but there weren't and I don't fall for that one anymore!

My kids were very quite and would stand at the side of my bed and just stare at me and I would wake up. A funny story,on my sons 6th birthday he went into the master bathroom and was cleaning,I woke because it was 6 am.and asked him what he was doing,"Mommy,I am getting ready ffor my bithday party" LOL
I know I am a clean freak and it does pass on!
Thanks

my fiance's 5 year old gets up just to tell us she forgot to give her daddy a hug (usually an hour or more after she's supposed to go to bed). Thankfully our 7 month old only wakes up when she's hungry :)

My daughter would love this! She's 2 and loves to push the buttons on our alarm clocks. When she makes up excuses for getting out of bed, she usually asks for juice or wants to read a book.
