Hello,
I went into Home Depot here in Richmond, VA, and the gentleman in paint did not know of this promotion. This in-store offer maybe select stores only. I don't see any info on their website about the free sample either.
You always need to call ahead of time to verify that your local store is participating. I have mentioned this several times on my blog.
If you look in the bottom left corner of the image in the post or on the page that comes up from the link..you can see where it says 8 oz samples are available. If you are seriously determined to get it, print that off and bring it to your local home depot and if they say they don't have it, ask for the manager and mention "false advertising"
